About Tony Hebert

Tony Hebert is a native Oklahoman who owns and operates 319 Photography.  Tony's photography journey began some 25 years ago when he picked up a manual 35mm film camera.  Tony learned how to shoot with film, develop film, and process images in a dark room - and fell in love with the process. Those early experiences are fond memories for Tony and truly the foundation of his understanding, feel for, and deep love of the art of photography.  Even in Tony's early days behind a lens, the natural world and its scenic vistas were his favorite subject and certainly his artistic first love. Today, Tony has added another element to his landscape photography - an element that he is in awe of and fully obsessed with: the night sky.  Tony has developed a unique style of astro-landscape photography where he focuses on balancing gorgeous night skies above stunning landscapes and striking a delicate balance between showcasing both elements in one image.

Tony's photography has taken him to some of the most beautiful locations and currently, his focus is on the American West and Southwest.  During spring, summer, and fall you will often find Tony on the road, somewhere between Southwest Texas and Northwest Montana.

Tony became a professional photographer in 2007 when he began producing images and being sent on assignment for the State of Oklahoma's Tourism and Travel Department.  Ever since it has been a whirlwind adventure that he has pursued and has loved every second of.  Tony has enjoyed many successes in his career but his greatest success is being able to create and produce images that convey the same feelings of awe and wonderment that he experiences in the field.  Currently, Tony is embarking on his seventh year of teaching destination astro-landscape, landscape, and wildlife photography workshops with his team.  During Tony's workshops, he teaches his camera and post-processing techniques both in-the-field and in the classroom and enjoys spending time with other passionate photographers in some of the most beautiful locations in the United States.
